The DESTINY Album: Its Release is Coming Soon!

I just wanted to share an update on the DESTINY album. I plan to release it in September, and I hope you enjoy listening to it. I chose to create this album as a mostly acapella, vocal experience, because I wanted to combine the power of storytelling with the emotion and resonance of the human voice. This album builds on the theme I’ve explored throughout this concept art project: the idea of creating your own destiny. It also shares my own emotions about different changes happening in the world, and the ways we can develop a positive connection to the universe.

The album will be released on BandLab, so I will link to it when it’s ready. I may also release another version of the album on Samply (a place to share audio recordings and streams) in the future. (Update: I changed my mind about releasing the album on BandLab, because it’s not quite what I’m looking for. Although I appreciated BandLab, there are now too many features and aspects that are behind a paywall. I will find another website or tool to share the album instead.)

I really enjoyed writing the songs for this album: they took me on many different paths, but they all related to the central theme and fascination I had with this concept of destiny. A lot of them just came like a bolt of inspiration!
