My Thoughts on Destiny

(Written on June 5, 2025)  “You can create your destiny - the power is within you!” - Destiny Hankerson I think that there are many ways to view destiny, and I like to take a positive view of it. I don’t think we have to see destiny in a fatalistic, depressing way. Although I do think certain things in life are destined to happen, I think we also have the power to create our own destinies through our choices, ideas, beliefs, and actions. We walk through this universe, seeking to understand it and live a life of meaning. No matter where we come from, we all wonder about whether we have a deeper purpose for being on this planet. I believe we do have a purpose, a destiny we can create and fulfill. This view of destiny brings you into the role of an active participant in creating your life and universe. Keep an Open Mind

(Written on May 12, 2025) Poem and Vocal Video For Pen to Print’s magazine “Write On!”, I offered a submission called “Keep an Open Mind”. The magazine’s theme for this issue is mindset, so I felt it was a good fit for the theme. Hopefully, it gets accepted! I thought I’d include this little poem here, too. I made a nice vocal and video to go with it, which you can see here as well. Ralph's Translation of "The Sky People"

(Written on May 11, 2025) The DESTINY Album Lyrics About a week ago, I found a kind person named Ralph on Newgrounds who was willing to translate some of the DESTINY album’s lyrics into Spanish. “The Sky People” was the first song I gave him to work with, and I’ll share his result here. The Destiny Art Project

(Written on May 1, 2025) The Destiny Art project came to me as an idea after having several vivid visions. In my mind, I had a vision of myself creating an album called DESTINY, and I pictured it as a one-of-a-kind project. When I saw the album in my mind like that, the idea stayed with me, and so I started writing lyrics for the first songs. The ideas and lyrics flowed without me really having to think too much about it. It just all came together naturally. When I went through a period of intense health issues, I realized that I may not always be able to record this album, and something told me this is something I need to complete while I’m still here to do it. I began recording the basic tracks for the album in March and April, and soon I had eight song ideas that I began to put together. From there, I realized I could look beyond just the concept album, and really dive deeper into Destiny Art as a whole.
